Official Training Courses satisfy the initial and continuation training standards as per State and Federal Guidelines, the U.S. Supreme Court, the European Union Police and Civilian Services Training (EUPCST) and are approved by the Department of Homeland Security Justice & Community Services, Law Enforcement Professional Standards (LEPS) Program - oversight of training and certification of Law Enforcement Officers, Code 30-29 et al and Legislative Rules CSR 149-2 et al.

What is K9 Working Dogs International Process for Selection & Training ?

We personally select European Working Dog breeders authorized by the VDH / FCI to provide us with puppies that are carefully assessed by our professional Certified Trainer staff, evaluated and tested to ensure soundness, confidence, strong nerves, drives, and proper character for ideal suitability as a future Police Service Dog or Security Dog.

These "Working Dog Prospects" are then raised with their Trainers, and properly Motivationally trained on a daily basis until they are mentally and physically mature, and ready for Final Training to Exceed National Police Service Dog Certification standards, OR as Working Service Dogs. Once they have the necessary Training and maturity, each dog is specifically paired / recommended based on their temperament, training, skill-sets, and the environment they will work in, based on the the needs and operational usage of the Agency / Customer.
